Friday, April 12th – Movie release day. Quiet night tonight? Check out the films opening this weekend. It’s baseball history meets awful sequels this wet weekend in NYC! “42″ (PG-13) tells the powerful story of Jackie Robinson, the man who broke the color barrier with Major League Baseball. Watch history unfold as you see young Chadwick Boseman embody one of the greatest ball players of all time. On the complete other side of the coin you’ll find, “Scary Movie 5″ (PG-13). This extremely unfunny spoof franchise wore out its welcome four sequels ago. This one boasts cameos from such greats as Charlie Sheen and Lindsay Lohan.
Friday, April 5th – Tonight is the first of two rare performances going down in Brooklyn this weekend. World famous singer-songwriter Mika will head to the equally famous Williamsburg to play a completely sold out intimate acoustic performance. This guy may have been known for writing a jingle or two.
