Saturday, January 26th – Tomorrow, make sure to visit one of Aussie pie shops Pie Face for Australia Day! All day long, it’s PiePalooza with a deliciously savory pies, giveaways, and festivities. Friday, January 25th – It may not be going down in Manhattan, but it’s close enough. We are so thrilled that Hockey is back that we are thrilled to make the trip out to Newark and check out The New JerseyDevils! Tonight they challenge the Washington Capitals (NJ Devils Tickets)

Friday, January 25th – Movie release day. Quiet night tonight? Check out the films opening this weekend. Grimm’s fairy tales are alive and well this weekend when Jeremy Renner leads a cast of ghastly ghouls in, “Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters” (R). Will this hybrid flick fall to the same fate as the vampire slaying sixteenth President or will it devour the rest of the pack? Well maybe not if Jason Statham has something to say about it! “Parker” (R) features the mainstay action star as his typical anit-hero best. This time he is joined on screen by the fine behind of Jennifer Lopez. Either way, we will see you at the movies!

Friday, January 25th – Goth and glam rock have never found a better friend these days like the “Black Veil Brides.” The brides are traversing the globe on a highly ambitious tour of their new album which proves these guys have a progressive bone in their body. Sure, their Best Buy Theater show is sold out tonight. But, make nice with the right girl in black face paint and you might score yourself a ticket. (Best Buy Theater)

Friday, January 25th -Join Kitsune this Friday night to honor stars of the NYC downtown music scene at in only they way they know how! Super pulse pounding DJ sets will be performed  by Penguin Prison and Chrome Sparks. It’s all going down at The Standard Hotel’s Le Bain! (Le Bain)

Saturday, January 26th – After watching, “Sideways” did you fall in love with Pinot Noir? So did we. That’s why we are thrilled to tell you about the, “2nd Annual New York City Pinot Days!” It’s Grand Tasting will showcase 35 phenomenal producers of pinot noir. Consumers will be able to sample over 100 pinots from every important domestic pinot noir region, from the Russian River Valley to the Santa Lucia Highlands, Oregon to Carneros, the Anderson Valley to the Sonoma Coast to the Santa Rita Hills. Saturday, January 26th – Once you finish all that wine, how about some beer? Well beer, bourbon and BBQ that is! Yes friends, the festival that dons all three of those outstanding taste sensations returns to NYC’s La. Venue on for two killer sessions. In the afternoon ticket holders can either gorge themselves on bacon, and at night stuff fill to the brim with whole picked hog!
