Friday, October 26th – Celebrate the spirit of the Halloween season with Last Rites Gallery. In its annual exhibit, Last Rites sets out to present a broad-spectrum representation of Dark Surrealism. Held days just before Halloween, the show is the gallery’s largest group exhibit, and features renowned artists from around the globe- working in an array of mediums including painting, drawing and sculpture. Sports

Sunday, October 28th – The gloves are off for Gang Green as they go into their second face-off against Miami. The first outing ended way too close. If Mark Sanchez and the Jets want the W they can’t let any evil spirits spook their game play! (New York Jets)

Music & Entertainment

Friday, October 26th – Movie release day. Quiet night tonight? Check out these two flicks coming out today. The Wachowski’s are back in a major way. The family who brought you, “The Matrix” is back with an epic film that tells a bold tale across time in, “Cloud Atlas” (R). Tom Hanks and Halle Berry play multiple roles in a film that is on the tip of every critics tongue! Is it light Halloween fare you seek? Well, then put on your best costume and check out,”Fun Size” (PG-13). Chelsea Handler and Johnny Knoxville star in this Nickelodeon produced flick so you can understand why it doesn’t have a family friendly rating.

Saturday, October 27th – The digital dance, funk mishmash that is, “Major Lazer” descends on the city that never sleeps just in time for ‘Ol Hallows Eve! It may be hard to classify this high energy act into one genre but that does nothing to take away from their crazy popularity. In fact this show is totally sold out, good luck getting tickets all you boils and ghouls! (Terminal 5)

Nightlife

Friday, October 26th – Legendary DJ Paul Oakenfold is here to kick your Halloween weekend off with a bang! The master of the wheels of steel will hit club,”Kiss and Fly” tonight for three hours of of serious spinning from midnight until 3am where he will be mixing your favorite house, electro and dance beats.
