Friday, May 18th – Tonight, lovers of all things art can attend the opening of “Identities” by Varial and Nadjar at Milk Studios in the Meatpacking District. The event is open to the public, and a damn fine way to start the weekend on an educational tip. Music will be curated by DJ Mia Moretti and Caitlin Moe.  (Milk Studios)

Friday, May 18th – Sunday, May 20th- Interleague play begins as the New York Yankees host the Big Red Machine as the Cincinnati Reds come to the Bronx. Joey Votto, Jay Bruce, and a bunch of other guys with baseball sounding names take on A-Rod, Jeter, and Raul Ibanez at the Stadium. (Yankees-Reds Tickets)

Saturday, May 19th – It’s Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs and the Rangers are traveling across the pond to take on the hated Devils of New Jersey. The Rock will be filled with red, but the trip ain’t far if you can grab tickets. Let’s go Rangers! (Devils Tickets)

Friday, May 18th – Movie release day. Quiet night tonight? Check out these releases coming out today. It’s all about baby fever when Jennifer Lopez and Cameron Diaz join an all star cast in “What To Expect When You’re Expecting” (PG-13). Will the movie stack up to the book? Buy a ticket to find out, ladies! The war for Earth begins at sea when Liam Nesson kicks alien robot but in, “Battleship” (PG-13). Will this board game on the big screen sink of swim? Hey, just don’t blame us if these both stink.

Friday, May 18th – Wouldn’t you love to see one of your favorite bands play an entire album live? Well, the wait is over! ’90s rockers, Collective Soul are hitting the road performing ‘Dosage’ in it’s entirety. And as a cherry on top, the boys will be playing other huge hits throughout the night as well. (Irving Plaza)

Friday, May 18th – The Meatpacking’s sexiest lounge is, RdV. With its mix of modern art, Victorian furniture, and killer DJs it’s truly a place to be seen. Tonight is no exception with the weekly, ‘Reckless Fridays’ getting underway in mere hours! (RdV Lounge)
