Sports

Saturday, March 17th- NYC’s St. Patrick’s Day doesn’t end after the parade is over. Keep the party going over at Madison Square Garden with your NY Rangers as they take on the Colorado Avalanche. Nothing helps you avoid a hangover better than more drinking. (NY Rangers)

Music & Entertainment

Friday, March 16th- Movie release day. Quiet night tonight? Check out these releases coming out today. If you read our review, you know we loved Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum in “21 Jump Street” (R). Now see this updated version of the 80s classic TV show on the big screen! Will Ferrell is known for his outlandish comedic characters. But in “Casa de mi Padre” (R) he goes all in on a Spanish language adaptation of a popular soap opera. Will it be, “Muy bueno?” See it for yourself and find out.

Friday, March 16th – Saturday, March 17th – Who says there’s no ‘Justice’ in the world? The French hybrid genre-bending pop and electronic duo will be melting faces and rocking bodies at NYC’s Terminal 5 all weekend long. Right now it appears both shows are sold out, but that’s never totally correct. If you are a fan check the website like a madman, or scalp like in the old days. (Terminal 5)

Nightlife

Friday, March 16th – NY Hotspot ‘Lavo’ will be hosting Arty, the 22-year DJ old prodigy, and MTV EDM Rookie of the Year. Arty has seen a meteoric rise to the top of the industry. His 2009 single “Bliss” received support from Armin van Buuren, and a year later commanded the attention of perennial top DJs Above & Beyond, who then signed Arty to their mega-label Anjunabeats.
