Tuesday night, chic Nolita lounge Lair became a catwalk of sorts as New York City expert on all things style Katlean de Monchy, hosted the first ever ‘Bloggerini’ event, bringing together New York’s finest fashion and lifestyle bloggers for an interactive social media gathering.

A regular contributor to E! News and Inside Edition, de Monchy recruited noted designers Mori Lee and Camille La Vie to display some of their finest dress designs to be laid out alongside de Monchy’s own collection of jewelry. As varying rock and hip hop music alternated in the background, guests were treated to an hour long open bar, sponsored by Voli’s Light Vodkas, a low calorie, electrolyte packed liquor which helps avoid a nasty vodka hangover. And guess what- it seems to have worked.

As attendees paraded down the narrow aisle between entranceway and bar, they couldn’t help but gawk at the beautiful dress models, changing dresses seemingly at will and standing in front of each display. Guests looking for a more interactive experience were also treated to sit and have their hair straightened or curled by some talented in-house stylists. 150 delighted guests took in all of the sights and tastes of the evening, and were sent home with a luxury gift bag featuring feminine items from sponsors like Helmet Bandits, Kush, Group USA, and a nail polish set including a gift card to New York City’s Beauty Bar. The next Bloggerini event is popping up on March 19th and all of the event information can be found on de Monchy’s Facebook page. While we didn’t manage to try on any dresses, we made sure to catch a glimpse of Manhattan’s fashionably finest.
