From talking with people in line and around the expo, most were there for the beer… The sauce came second or as a surprise for them. This is my second time attending the expo. Last years expo in Brooklyn was swell. The beer was separated from the sauces and all the chilli-heads went wild tasting and buying their favorite bottles of hot goodness. Now, from a business POV, the beer mixed well with the sauce and the turn out was great! This is what the hot sauce scene needs. I dont want to get too into it but I am looking forward to next years festivities.
